Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, includes weekends and holidays

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide exceptional nursing care to a diverse patient population including cardiac, neuro, oncology, ortho, and more
Float across multiple units within Zone 3, covering facilities in Lakewood, Longmont, Westminster, and Denver
Titrate heparin drips and manage common titratable drips as needed
Collaborate with charge nurses and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Adapt quickly to different unit environments, from MS-Tele to PCU/Stepdown when needed

Qualifications

Active RN license in Colorado or compact state
Minimum 2 years of Med-Surg/Telemetry experience required
Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
Neuro experience preferred but not required
Willingness to float within a 60-mile radius of Denver city center

Knowledge & Skills

Strong MS-Tele nursing skills
Float pool nursing adaptability
Neuro assessment and care experience desired
Ability to titrate heparin and manage cardiac drips
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
