Candidate Pay Rate: $43 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Manage individualized, goal-directed nursing care using the nursing process and principles of primary nursing
Ensure compliance with departmental and facility policies and standards of nursing practice
Provide compassionate care to residents in a long-term care setting
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes
Document patient care accurately and timely in clinical databases

Qualifications

Valid Alaska RN license
Current BLS certification
Minimum 1 year of Long Term Care experience
BSN preferred
Strong clinical assessment and communication skills

Education

Associate's degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in PC, software, and clinical databases
Knowledge of nursing process and primary nursing principles
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
