Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $69 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform a wide variety of nuclear medicine and PET imaging procedures using state-of-the-art GE Discovery 630 and GE PET 8 equipment
Administer radiopharmaceuticals and monitor patients during scans to ensure safety and comfort
Collaborate closely with radiologists and healthcare team to produce high-quality diagnostic images
Maintain radiation safety protocols and properly handle radioactive materials
Document patient histories, image data, and quality control records accurately in Epic and McKesson PACS

Qualifications

Active ARRT certification in Nuclear Medicine (NM) or CNMT required
Current BLS certification (American Heart Association)
Valid driver's license and ability to meet 50-mile radius rule
Willingness to comply with facility policies (e.g., no artificial nails in patient care areas)
Flexible, positive attitude and eagerness to learn—extra certifications like ARRT (R), (CT), or (MR) are a plus!

Knowledge & Skills

Strong proficiency in nuclear medicine and PET imaging techniques
Experience with Epic and McKesson PACS for image management and documentation
Excellent communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with multidisciplinary staff
Ability to adapt quickly to new protocols and float to other modalities if cross-trained
