Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 6:30 PM or 6:30 PM - 6:30 AM, every other weekend required

Hours per Week: 48

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to a diverse adult patient population in a 40-bed PCU
Monitor telemetry, interpret cardiac rhythms, and titrate drips such as Heparin, Nitro, and Amiodarone
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to manage cardiac, med-surg, and stroke patients
Focus on patient experience, responsiveness, and communication about medications
Float to MedSurg or ICU as needed to maintain appropriate patient acuity assignments

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nebraska
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Competency in arterial line management
Valid driver's license required for verification of 50-mile radius

Knowledge & Skills

Skilled in telemetry interpretation and reading own strips
Experience titrating cardiac drips and managing high flow oxygen
Strong communication and teamwork abilities
Adaptable and flexible in a fast-paced environment
Cultural competence to serve primarily Hispanic and Somalian populations
