Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Rotating schedule including every other weekend, holidays (1 major and 1 minor), and on-call with 30-minute response time

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform high-quality diagnostic X-ray exams including brain, abdomen, pelvis, extremities, and MRCP studies
Operate GE and Toshiba imaging equipment with precision
Utilize Radnet and Merge Unity systems for image management and documentation
Collaborate with radiologists and lead tech to ensure accurate imaging
Maintain a safe and efficient workflow in a fast-paced department averaging 100 scans per day
Float to Mercy Southwest location (approx 6.5 miles away) as needed

Qualifications

BLS certification required
ARRT certification required
Minimum 2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist
Proficiency in GE and Toshiba equipment preferred
Experience with Radnet and Merge Unity PACS/EMR systems

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in radiography and imaging techniques
Ability to perform a variety of exams including brain, MRCP, abdomen, pelvis, and extremities
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Capability to handle a high volume of studies daily
Willingness to float between facilities and adapt to rotating shifts
