Location: Garrison, ND

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend and holiday

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $58 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Act as charge nurse, overseeing resident care and coordinating with staff
Administer medications safely and accurately
Perform wound care and monitor healing progress
Develop and implement individualized care plans
Collaborate with physicians, families, and interdisciplinary team members
Ensure a safe, compassionate, and dignified environment for residents

Qualifications

Current RN license in North Dakota or compact state
BLS certification required
Minimum 1 year of long-term care experience
Ability to work 12-hour shifts and every other weekend/holiday
Strong communication and leadership skills

Knowledge & Skills

Charge nurse experience
Medication administration expertise
Wound care proficiency
Matrix EMR familiarity
Deep understanding of long-term care regulations
Compassionate, resident-centered approach
