Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Night shift (NOC), 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, includes weekends and one holiday per contract

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide respiratory therapy to adult and pediatric patients, including Level 2 NICU care
Perform arterial blood gas (ABG) draws and analyze results
Set up and manage BiPAP, CPAP, and mechanical ventilators (PB 980, Philips V60, etc.)
Administer nebulizer treatments and assist with conscious sedation and cardioversion
Assist with intubations and provide emergency respiratory support
Collaborate with lead therapists and nursing staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Qualifications

Active Washington Respiratory Therapy (RT) license required
BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
RRT or CRT credential accepted
Must have strong NICU experience with ability to care for 32-week and up neonates
Minimum 1 year recent experience in an inpatient setting preferred
Ventilator management and ABG draw proficiency required

Knowledge & Skills

Ventilator management (PB 980, Philips V60, Respironics Lumis)
NICU respiratory care (bubble CPAP, high flow)
ABG analysis and phlebotomy
BiPAP and CPAP setup
Conscious sedation monitoring
Cardioversion standby
Intubation assistance
