Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, with weekend and holiday rotation

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $57 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide exceptional nursing care to oncology and medical-surgical telemetry patients
Monitor cardiac rhythms and interpret EKGs to detect changes
Administer chemotherapy and manage central lines with precision
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create and adjust care plans
Perform Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes while maintaining sterile field
Educate patients and families on treatment plans and recovery

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona or a compact state
Minimum two years of recent acute care oncology experience
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Chemotherapy certification is a big plus
Strong EKG interpretation skills and confidence with telemetry
Proficiency with Cerner EMR

Knowledge & Skills

Oncology nursing principles and chemotherapy administration
Acute care and telemetry monitoring
Central line management and sterile dressing changes
Foley catheter insertion with sterile technique
Effective team collaboration and communication
Critical thinking and quick problem-solving in a fast-paced environment
