Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Night shift, 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM, includes every other weekend (Friday, Saturday, Sunday)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $76 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive care to laboring patients in a rural LDRP unit
Perform triage assessments and manage patient flow
Assist with deliveries as the baby catcher and transition nurse
Monitor fetal heart tracings using OBIX system
Administer Pitocin and other titratable drips as needed
Collaborate with on-call OB and anesthesia providers

Qualifications

Must have 1 year of L&D experience
Trained in LDRP and able to function as baby catcher/transition nurse
Ability to triage and manage laboring patients independently
Willingness to float to med-surg occasionally (rare)

Knowledge & Skills

L&D, LDRP, triage, baby catcher, transition nurse
ALS, NRP, AWHONN EFM certifications
Ability to titrate Pitocin
Experience with OBIX fetal monitoring system
