Location: Omaha, Nebraska

End Date: 09-21-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, self-scheduling with weekend requirement every third weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate emergency care to patients of all ages in a fast-paced ER setting
Collaborate with EMTs, paramedics, and patient care aides to deliver exceptional treatment
Administer medications and perform essential nursing interventions with precision
Respond quickly to critical situations while maintaining composure and clinical excellence
Build meaningful connections with patients and families during their most vulnerable moments

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
Valid driver's license for radius verification
Strong assessment and critical thinking skills in emergency settings

Knowledge & Skills

Emergency nursing protocols across all age groups
IV insertion and medication administration
Patient assessment and triage expertise
Electronic health record documentation
Team collaboration in high-acuity environments
