Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour rotating shifts, every other weekend, rotating holidays

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $71 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive emergency nursing care to patients of all ages
Assess, triage, and prioritize patient needs in a fast-paced emergency department
Administer medications, perform procedures, and monitor telemetry
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team
Participate in bedside report and ensure patient safety
Float to other Sacramento facilities as needed

Qualifications

Active RN license in California
BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications required
Minimum 1-2 years of ER experience
Telemetry and Cerner experience preferred
Ability to read and interpret EKG strips

Knowledge & Skills

Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Comfortable using Cerner EMR
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Flexibility with shifting priorities
