Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide emergency care to patients of all ages in a fast-paced environment
Assess, triage, and prioritize patient needs based on acuity
Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals to deliver coordinated care
Monitor patient status, interpret telemetry, and respond to changes in condition
Educate patients and families on discharge instructions and follow-up care
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nebraska (or compact state) required
Must pass pass/fail open-book orientation exam on skills with a 90% or higher
Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
Minimum 1 year of ER experience preferred
No artificial nails allowed in patient care areas
Ability to work rotating shifts including weekends and holidays

Knowledge & Skills

Strong critical thinking and clinical decision-making skills
Ability to remain calm and effective in high-stress situations
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Proficiency in cardiac monitoring, phlebotomy, and IV insertion
Familiarity with EPIC or similar EMR systems
