Location: Albuquerque, NM

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM Day shift (specific days not specified)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $28 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality patient care and support daily recovery
Perform accurate patient assessments and document findings clearly
Administer medications and treatments safely and according to protocol
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care
Educate patients and families about care plans and discharge instructions
Maintain compliance with facility policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse license (RN) in New Mexico or eligible to obtain licensure
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred
Comfortable working the posted shift: 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM
Strong communication skills and a patient-centered mindset
Previous acute care or rehab experience is a plus

Education

Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ASN/BSN) required for RN
High school diploma or equivalent as baseline

Knowledge & Skills

Solid patient assessment and clinical judgment skills
Medication administration and accurate charting/documentation
Familiarity with care planning and collaborating across care teams
Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
Compassionate bedside manner and patient education skills
