Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to assigned patients
Assess patient condition and monitor vital signs to inform care plans
Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
Document patient care and clinical observations clearly in the medical record
Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and the multidisciplinary team to coordinate care
Educate patients and families about care plans, procedures, and discharge instructions
Contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Mexico (required)
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required)
Previous clinical experience in a hospital or rehab/acute setting preferred
Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills
Ability to work the posted day shift hours and adapt to facility needs

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
Completion of an accredited nursing program and active RN licensure required

Knowledge & Skills

Patient assessment and monitoring
Medication administration and documentation
Wound care and basic clinical procedures
Electronic medical record charting and accurate documentation
Effective communication with patients, families, and clinical teams
Time management and prioritization in a busy clinical environment
