Roles & Responsibilities

Oversee the entire Radiology program with confidence and precision
Track and ensure radiology studies are submitted and reported accurately
Provide essential PACS training to empower your team
Collaborate with administrators and directors to uphold top-quality standards
Manage equipment maintenance, inspections, and procurement quotes
Develop and maintain vital radiology policies and procedures
Lead radiation protection monitoring for staff safety
Optimize the radiology chargemaster for better revenue capture
Conduct staff evaluations, ensure competencies, and perform exams as needed

Qualifications

Graduate from an accredited School of Radiology
Registered Radiological Technologist (ARRT) required
Registered Mammographer preferred
Registered US Technologist preferred
Basic Life Support certification
5+ years in Radiology Management and supervision
5+ years as Radiology Technologist
PACS training experience
CT or MRI technologist experience preferred

Education

Graduate from an accredited School of Radiology

Knowledge & Skills

Federal, state, and accreditation regulations for radiology services
Digitized imaging and MQSA requirements
Effective oral and written communication
Multi-tasking and working across computer systems
Supervising diverse teams, including indirect reports
Writing radiology manuals and documenting medical info
Building strong team environments
Learning new imaging exams quickly
