Roles & Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage a wide range of urologic conditions including kidney stones, BPH, incontinence, UTIs and other common disorders
• Perform surgical procedures in modern operating rooms, including preoperative planning and postoperative follow-up
• Provide hospital and emergency department consultations and collaborate with other specialists to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Work closely with an established urologist and nurse practitioner in a team-based, single-site practice
• Participate in a light call schedule (approximately 7 days per month) to support continuous patient care
• Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatment options, and preventive care to promote shared decision-making
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and adhere to hospital policies, state regulations, and professional standards
• Engage in quality improvement activities and ongoing professional development to stay current in urology

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in diagnosis and management of urologic conditions and performance of urologic surgical procedures
• Comfortable providing both outpatient and inpatient/ER consults and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
• Strong clinical documentation skills and adherence to hospital policies and professional standards
• Experience working in a team-based practice alongside advanced practice providers
• Willingness to participate in a light call schedule (approximately 7 days/month)
• Must be able to commute within 1 hour of Brattleboro (candidates who commute more than 1 hour will not be considered)
• Not accepting visa-sponsored candidates (visa candidates not eligible)
• Not open to LOCUM or LOCUM-to-PERM candidates
