Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM (Day shift)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $70 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assess patients’ physical abilities and develop individualized treatment plans
Deliver therapeutic interventions and progress evidence-based care
Document patient progress thoroughly and communicate changes to the care team
Collaborate with occupational therapists, nurses, and physicians for holistic care
Educate patients and families on home programs and safety to promote independence
Maintain a safe treatment environment and follow facility protocols
Participate in orientation and contribute to a positive team culture

Qualifications

Valid Physical Therapist license in California or eligibility to obtain one
Current BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
Comfortable with full-time, Monday–Friday day shifts and a 3-day orientation
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work within a multidisciplinary team
Prior experience in medical/acute care settings is a plus

Education

Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred or equivalent degree in Physical Therapy

Knowledge & Skills

Skilled in patient assessment, therapeutic exercise, and gait training
Knowledge of safety, infection control, and documentation best practices
Ability to create measurable goals and track patient outcomes
Good time management and prioritization in a busy clinical environment
Strong communication skills for patient education and team collaboration
