Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered physical therapy evaluations and skilled treatment to maximize functional outcomes
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans using evidence-based techniques
• Document patient progress clearly and timely in the medical record system
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and other therapists to coordinate care
• Educate patients and families on home exercise programs, safety, and fall prevention
• Monitor progress, adjust interventions as needed, and contribute to discharge planning
• Maintain compliance with facility policies, state regulations, and professional standards

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted Physical Therapist license in Montana or ability to obtain state licensure promptly
• Active BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain prior to start)
• Excellent clinical assessment and manual therapy skills
• Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with an interdisciplinary staff
• Previous outpatient or acute care PT experience preferred; motivated new graduates who meet licensure requirements are welcome

Education

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent degree from an accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in musculoskeletal assessment and therapeutic exercise prescription
• Knowledge of manual therapy techniques and functional mobility training
• Proficient documentation and outcome measurement to track patient progress
• Ability to educate patients and caregivers effectively and compassionately
• Comfortable working independently in a travel/contract setting and adapting to new workflows
