Shift Type: Sunday-Saturday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (day)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $70 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Evaluate, diagnose, and create individualized treatment plans that restore mobility and independence
Deliver hands-on therapy and progressive exercise programs tailored to each patient
Provide clear education and coaching to patients and families to support recovery at home
Document patient progress accurately and communicate outcomes with the care team
Collaborate with nursing, social work, and other disciplines to ensure coordinated care
Adjust treatment plans based on measurable goals and evolving patient needs

Qualifications

Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) or eligible for licensure in Massachusetts
Current BLS/CPR certification or willingness to obtain prior to start
Strong clinical reasoning and experience in rehabilitation or post-acute care preferred
Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in an interdisciplinary team
Ability to manage a full caseload while delivering compassionate, patient-centered care

Education

Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred or Bachelor/Master in Physical Therapy

Knowledge & Skills

Skilled in therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, and functional mobility training
Proficient clinical assessment and goal setting for rehab patients
Comfortable with EMR documentation and timely charting
Ability to educate patients and families with clarity and empathy
Good time management and organization to maintain consistent progress notes and schedules
