Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality therapeutic care under the direction of a licensed physical therapist
• Implement therapeutic exercises and modalities to help patients regain mobility and function
• Monitor patient progress and document clinical findings and interventions accurately
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and adjust patient care plans
• Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and safe mobility techniques
• Maintain a safe, compassionate environment and adhere to facility policies and regulatory standards

Qualifications

• Licensed or certified Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in Montana, or able to obtain licensure
• Graduate of an accredited PTA program (typically an associate degree)
• Current CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
• Strong clinical documentation skills and familiarity with therapeutic exercise techniques
• Comfortable working day shifts and adapting to travel assignment logistics
• Professional communication skills and ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team

Education

• Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in therapeutic exercise progression and patient mobility techniques
• Knowledgeable about safety, fall prevention, and adaptive equipment
• Ability to perform patient assessments and track measurable outcomes
• Proficient in clinical documentation and following care plans
• Strong interpersonal skills, patient education, and family engagement
