Roles & Responsibilities

• Assess patients’ functional abilities and establish individualized OT plans
• Develop and implement therapeutic interventions to improve daily living and independence
• Provide adaptive equipment recommendations and train patients and caregivers
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and rehab team members to coordinate care
• Document patient progress and treatment outcomes accurately and timely
• Educate patients and families on strategies to promote safety and home independence
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to quality improvement initiatives

Qualifications

• Licensed Occupational Therapist in the state of Montana or eligible to obtain Montana licensure
• Current NBCOT certification preferred (or equivalent credentialing)
• Clinical experience providing occupational therapy interventions in post-acute, long-term care, or skilled nursing settings helpful
• Ability to commit to a 13-week travel contract and reliably provide 36 hours/week
• Up-to-date immunizations and ability to pass background and health screenings as required by facility

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in ADL/IADL assessment and intervention planning
• Proficient with adaptive equipment selection and training
• Strong documentation skills and familiarity with clinical charting
• Excellent communication and interdisciplinary collaboration abilities
• Patient-centered approach with a focus on functional outcomes
