Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality MRI exams (contrast and non-contrast) using GE MRI systems with attention to image accuracy and patient safety
• Prepare patients for procedures, explain processes clearly, and monitor comfort and safety throughout scans
• Administer and monitor MRI contrast agents per protocol when required
• Document procedures and patient information accurately in the Cerner EMR
• Collaborate with radiologists and the clinical care team to ensure timely, diagnostic imaging
• Maintain equipment readiness, report issues, and follow unit infection control and safety protocols
• Support unit needs during rotating weekends and maintain a professional, patient-centered approach

Qualifications

• MRI registration (required) and relevant MRI certification
• Minimum 2+ years MRI experience (as stated)
• Experience with GE MRI equipment preferred
• Familiarity with Cerner EMR preferred
• Breast MRI experience is a plus
• Comfort working rotating weekends as needed
• Adherence to unit dress code (black scrubs) and professional standards

Knowledge & Skills

• MRI (registered) and MRI certification
• Contrast and non-contrast MRI procedures
• GE MRI systems operation and troubleshooting
• Cerner EMR documentation and workflow
• Breast MRI techniques (preferred)
