Roles & Responsibilities

Greet and prepare patients for visits with a warm, professional manner
Obtain vital signs and basic medical histories accurately
Assist clinicians with rooming patients and minor procedures
Document patient information and encounters in the electronic medical record
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment
Support efficient clinic flow by coordinating with clinical and administrative teams
Participate in orientation and follow-up training to stay current

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required
Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA) preferred
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required or obtainable upon hire
Comfortable with patient interaction and basic clinical tasks
Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team

Education

High school diploma or GED required
Medical Assistant certificate or diploma preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Patient communication with empathy and professionalism
Basic clinical skills: taking vitals, assisting with procedures, infection control
Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
HIPAA and patient privacy awareness
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a clinic setting
Attention to detail in documentation and specimen handling
