Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct patient care in accordance with CNA standards
• Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and mobility
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff promptly
• Support safe transfers and proper use of lifting/transfer equipment
• Follow infection control practices and maintain a clean, safe environment
• Complete required documentation and checklists accurately and timely
• Participate in Trinity Specialty Competency Testing and skills validation

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Successful License/Certificate Verification as part of onboarding
• Must complete Trinity Specialty Specific Competency Testing and Trinity Skills Checklist
• Current immunizations and health screenings: TB (2-step PPD or IGRA), MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, Tdap, COVID-19, Influenza
• Trinity 10 Panel Drug Screen and Trinity Color Vision check required
• Reliable, patient-focused attitude with strong communication skills
• Availability for per diem shifts and participation in the PD pool

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Current CNA certification (required)

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong hands-on resident care skills and familiarity with ADLs
• Infection prevention and safe patient handling techniques
• Basic charting and documentation practices
• Ability to follow clinical checklists and competency testing processes
• Good interpersonal skills and teamwork in a fast-paced care setting
• Adaptability to varied shift assignments and unit needs
