Shift Type: Day shift, 6:45 AM - 3:15 PM, rotating weekends (schedule varies; approximately 32-40 hours per week)

Candidate Pay Rate: $32 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care and daily assessments to support recovery
Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately according to care plans
Collaborate with RNs, therapists, and the care team to deliver coordinated care
Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the patient record
Support resident comfort and dignity through patient-centered bedside care
Communicate clearly with families and team members about care needs and progress

Qualifications

Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) credential in good standing
Maine LPN licensure preferred or ability to obtain Maine licensure prior to start
BLS/CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Comfortable working day shifts and participating in a rotating weekend schedule
Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset

Education

LPN diploma or vocational nursing certificate

Knowledge & Skills

Medication administration and basic nursing procedures
Patient assessment and reporting changes in condition
Care planning and documentation best practices
Infection control and safety protocols
Teamwork, time management, and effective communication
Familiarity with electronic health records and charting
