Shift Type: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM day

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $34 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to residents and patients, following individualized care plans
Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely with attention to detail
Perform thorough assessments and promptly report changes in condition to the care team
Document care activities and patient responses clearly and professionally
Collaborate with RNs, CNAs, therapists, and support staff to deliver coordinated care
Educate patients and families about care plans, medications, and safety measures to support better outcomes

Qualifications

Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) credential in good standing
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required or willing to obtain
Previous experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or similar facility is a plus
Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
Local candidates only as this role is designated for staff living within the area

Education

Completed LPN/Vocational Nursing program or equivalent

Knowledge & Skills

Solid medication administration and documentation practices
Ability to perform patient assessments and recognize subtle changes
Familiarity with infection control and safety protocols
Comfortable using electronic medical records and point-of-care charting
Good time management, prioritization, and delegation skills
