Candidate Pay Rate: $67 - $46.9 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to residents in a long term care setting
Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely according to orders
Monitor and document vital signs, changes in condition, and care given in resident records
Assist residents with activities of daily living while promoting dignity and independence
Collaborate with nurses, care staff, and providers to develop and follow individualized care plans
Advocate for resident rights and ensure respectful, person-centered care at all times
Participate in care team meetings, shift handoffs, and resident-family communication

Qualifications

Active LPN license in Alaska, or eligibility to obtain one
Completion of an accredited practical/vocational nursing program
Current BLS (CPR) certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
Experience in long term care or skilled nursing preferred
Able to pass background checks, health screenings, and meet facility requirements
Strong communication skills and a collaborative, patient-focused attitude

Education

Completion of an accredited LPN / Practical Nursing program (diploma or certificate)
High school diploma or GED

Knowledge & Skills

Medication administration and basic wound care knowledge
Resident assessment and recognition of changes in condition
Comfortable assisting with ADLs and mobility support
Accurate documentation and basic charting skills
Teamwork, time management, and prioritization in a busy care environment
