Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform assigned laboratory analyses and report accurate results following departmental procedures and regulations
• Maintain rigorous quality control practices to ensure reliable patient results
• Perform routine equipment maintenance according to schedule and instructions
• Correlate laboratory findings with clinical information through chart review and consultation with nursing and medical staff
• Perform receptionist and phlebotomy duties, providing respectful and patient-centered service
• Ensure compliance with applicable State and Federal laws, regulations, and healthcare policies

Qualifications

• Experience performing clinical laboratory testing and quality control procedures
• Phlebotomy experience and comfort interacting with patients
• Familiarity with equipment maintenance and specimen handling best practices
• Strong ability to review charts and communicate findings with clinical teams
• Certification or licensure as a Medical Technologist/MLS/MT preferred where applicable; relevant state requirements must be met

Education

• Associate's or Bachelor's in Medical Laboratory Science, Clinical Laboratory Technology, or related field preferred

• Laboratory testing and quality control processes
• Specimen handling and proper chain-of-custody procedures
• Phlebotomy techniques and patient interaction skills
• Equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
• Chart review and clinical correlation
• Regulatory compliance with State and Federal healthcare laws
• Receptionist duties and clinical consultation communication
