Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Per diem / as scheduled, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM, Day shift

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $33 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care to promote comfort and recovery
Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately according to orders
Monitor patient status and promptly report changes to the interdisciplinary team
Document patient observations, interventions, and outcomes clearly and timely
Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges with professionalism and sensitivity
Support patient and family education to encourage informed care decisions
Collaborate with RN and provider staff to maintain continuity and quality of care

Qualifications

Current LPN licensure in good standing (state licensure required)
Completion of an accredited practical nursing program
Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification or willingness to obtain
Prior experience in a clinical setting preferred but new grads may be considered
Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
Ability to follow facility policies and maintain patient confidentiality

Education

Graduation from an accredited Practical Nursing program (LPN)

Knowledge & Skills

Medication administration and documentation best practices
Fundamental nursing assessments and vital signs monitoring
Wound care basics and assistance with ADLs
Electronic medical record charting and handoff communication
Infection control, safety protocols, and patient advocacy
Time management and prioritization in a fast-paced setting
