Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to patients in the assigned area
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately according to protocol
• Monitor patient status, report changes, and collaborate with the care team for timely interventions
• Document patient care thoroughly and maintain accurate medical records
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and transitions of care to ensure continuity
• Support patient and family education with clear, empathetic communication
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and adhere to infection control standards

Qualifications

• Current and active LPN license (practical nursing) in New Hampshire or eligible to obtain state licensure
• Previous practical nursing experience preferred but new grads with strong clinical training are welcome
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification required or obtained upon hire
• Ability to work 12+ hour day shifts and adapt to per diem scheduling
• Clear background check and ability to meet facility onboarding requirements

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing (LPN) program or diploma in practical nursing

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong medication administration and documentation skills
• Skilled in basic nursing assessments and vital signs monitoring
• Comfortable with wound care, IV support tasks within LPN scope, and ADL assistance
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Good time management and ability to prioritize patient needs
• Familiarity with electronic medical records and charting best practices
