Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, resident-centered nursing care during overnight shifts
• Administer medications safely and accurately according to facility policy
• Perform routine assessments, monitor changes in condition, and escalate concerns promptly
• Document care clearly in the medical record to ensure continuity and quality
• Assist with wound care, treatments, and basic procedures within LPN scope
• Collaborate with RNs, CNAs, and the interdisciplinary team to create strong care plans
• Support residents with activities of daily living while promoting dignity and independence
• Contribute to a safe environment by following infection control and safety protocols

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in New Mexico required
• Current BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
• Must be able to work the specified overnight schedule (Saturday, Sunday, Monday nights)
• Ability to pass background check and meet facility immunization requirements
• Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
• Local-only requirement: must live in commuting distance or already be local

Education

• Completion of an accredited practical/vocational nursing program

Knowledge & Skills

• Medication administration and documentation best practices
• Basic patient assessment and vital sign interpretation
• Familiarity with long-term care or skilled nursing workflows preferred
• Proficient charting and clear clinical communication
• Infection control principles and safe patient handling
• Good time management for overnight priorities and handoffs
