Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate bedside care and assist residents with activities of daily living
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and document findings
• Monitor vital signs and report changes in condition to the clinical team
• Collaborate with RNs, therapists, and interdisciplinary staff to deliver coordinated care
• Perform focused assessments and contribute to individualized care plans
• Support infection control practices and maintain a safe environment for residents
• Communicate clearly with residents and families to explain care and provide reassurance

Qualifications

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) licensure — ready to practice
• Comfortable working nights (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM) and providing consistent clinical coverage
• Travel nurse experience is a plus (preferred)
• Ability to pass facility-required background check and immunization verification
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset

Education

• Diploma or certificate from an accredited Practical Nursing (LPN) program

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in medication administration and basic wound care
• Proficient in monitoring and documenting vital signs and clinical observations
• Solid clinical judgment and the ability to escalate changes in condition
• Good time management and organizational skills in a fast-paced setting
• Experience with electronic medical records or willingness to learn quickly
• Team-oriented approach and strong resident-centered communication
