Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to residents according to plan of care
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and document thoroughly
• Monitor, record, and report changes in patients' conditions to the care team
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary team members to deliver high-quality care
• Assist with activities of daily living while promoting resident dignity and independence
• Participate in facility quality initiatives and resident care planning

Qualifications

• Current LPN license (Class LPN) and in good standing; state licensure appropriate for Maine preferred
• Proven practical nursing experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or similar settings is a plus
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
• Strong communication, documentation, and time management skills
• Local only assignment; must be able to commute to Camden, Maine reliably
• Availability for a 15-week assignment (Start Date: 2026-02-02 to End Date: 2026-05-11) or as discussed with recruiter

Education

• Practical Nursing diploma or completion of an accredited LPN program
• High school diploma or equivalent

Knowledge & Skills

• Medication administration and safe practices
• Clinical assessment and vital signs monitoring
• Wound care and basic procedures relevant to long-term care
• Electronic health record documentation and charting
• Patient-centered care and effective family communication
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a busy care environment
