Candidate Pay Rate: $31 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver compassionate direct patient care, including medication administration and wound care
Perform accurate assessments and monitor patient status throughout the shift
Document patient care and observations clearly and timely in the electronic medical record
Collaborate with RN and interdisciplinary teams to implement care plans
Educate patients and families about treatments, medications, and discharge instructions
Assist with procedures and provide safe, patient-centered nursing interventions
Escalate changes in patient condition promptly to ensure excellent outcomes

Qualifications

Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in New Mexico required
Current BLS/CPR certification required; other certifications a plus
Comfortable working day shifts with a 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM schedule
Local-only candidate required; must be able to reliably commute to Albuquerque
Previous experience in a clinical setting preferred; strong clinical judgment and patient focus

Education

Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program
High school diploma or equivalent

Knowledge & Skills

Medication administration and basic nursing procedures
Vital signs monitoring and documentation
Wound care and basic dressing changes
Electronic medical record (EMR) charting and documentation
Strong communication, patient education, and teamwork skills
Time management and ability to prioritize in a busy clinical environment
