Shift Type: Days not specified, 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM (Day shift)

Hours per Week: 38

Candidate Pay Rate: $28 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care to assigned individuals
Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
Monitor patient status and report changes promptly to the care team
Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses clearly in the chart
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support patient recovery
Support discharge planning and patient education to promote continuity of care

Qualifications

Current LPN license in New Mexico (RN candidates with appropriate license are also considered)
Minimum relevant clinical experience (facility will discuss preferred years during screening)
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or willingness to obtain
Ability to pass background checks and meet facility onboarding requirements
Strong communication and teamwork skills

Education

Completion of an accredited Practical Nursing program for LPNs
For RN candidates: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (if applicable)

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of medication administration and nursing assessments
Comfortable with wound care, ADL assistance, and basic patient procedures
Proficient with clinical documentation and electronic health records
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work within a multidisciplinary team
Time management and prioritization in a fast-paced care environment
