Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, resident-centered nursing care as an LPN in a long-term care setting
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately according to facility policy
• Perform routine assessments and report changes in resident condition to the care team
• Document resident care and medication administration clearly and promptly in the record
• Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and support staff to deliver coordinated care
• Adhere to infection control, immunization, and screening requirements to keep residents safe

Qualifications

• Active LPN license (ability to hold/obtain NC licensure required for assignments in North Carolina)
• Current verification of required immunizations: MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, Tdap, COVID-19, Influenza
• Completed Trinity 10 Panel drug screen and a recent physical/health statement as required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with residents and the care team
• Previous long-term care or per diem nursing experience is a plus

Education

• Graduate of an accredited LPN/LVN program or equivalent vocational nursing certificate

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in medication administration and basic nursing procedures
• Knowledge of infection prevention and immunization protocols
• Proficient documentation and charting practices
• Ability to perform resident assessments and report changes effectively
• Teamwork, time management, and resident-focused care planning
