Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Per diem (days vary), 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM Day shift

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $21 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents and patients
Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding)
Monitor and report changes in patient condition to the nursing team
Document care and observations clearly and accurately
Support safe transfers and mobility assistance
Follow infection control and safety protocols at all times
Collaborate with RNs and interdisciplinary team members to deliver quality care

Qualifications

Active Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) credential — NH or VT licensure preferred
Current CPR/BLS certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
Comfortable providing direct resident care and assisting with ADLs
Reliable, professional, and able to follow facility policies and procedures
Prior experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or similar settings a plus

Education

Completion of a state-approved Nursing Assistant training program
High school diploma or equivalent

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of basic nursing assistant duties and resident care
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to perform safe patient transfers and use assistive devices
Detail-oriented documentation and time-management skills
Compassionate bedside manner and ability to work as part of a team
