Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate hands-on care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
• Perform vital sign checks and report changes in condition promptly to nursing staff
• Support safe transfers, ambulation, and mobility while encouraging resident independence
• Document care activities and observations accurately and timely in facility records
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to deliver person-centered care plans
• Maintain infection control standards and a safe, clean environment for residents

Qualifications

• Active LNA (Licensed Nursing Assistant) credential — NH or VT licensure accepted
• T-LNA (Training LNA) candidates considered as indicated by assignment class
• Comfortable working night shifts and participating in every-other-weekend/holiday rotations
• Dependable, punctual, and ready for a travel assignment
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well on a team

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a state-approved nursing assistant training program and LNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in assisting with ADLs (bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding)
• Comfortable taking and recording vital signs accurately
• Knowledge of basic infection prevention and safe patient handling
• Good documentation practices and attention to detail
• Empathy, patience, and strong interpersonal skills with residents and families
• Ability to prioritize tasks during a busy overnight shift
