Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living—bathing, dressing, grooming and mobility support
• Observe and report changes in patient condition to the nursing team promptly
• Provide compassionate, dignified care that promotes resident comfort and independence
• Document care accurately and timely in residents’ records
• Support safe transfers and positioning using appropriate body mechanics
• Collaborate with nurses and therapists to follow care plans and improve outcomes
• Maintain infection control and safety standards to protect residents and staff

Qualifications

• Active Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) credential (VT or NH acceptable given job posting)
• Must be local and provide your own reliable vehicle (LOCAL ONLY requirement)
• Comfortable working the evening shift (3:00 PM - 11:00 PM)
• Friendly, patient-focused attitude with strong communication skills
• Ability to pass facility onboarding requirements (standard background and health screenings as required by employer)

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent and certified LNA training

Knowledge & Skills

• Hands-on resident care and comfort measures
• Basic clinical observations and effective reporting to nurses
• Accurate charting and documentation practices
• Infection control, safe lifting and transfer techniques
• Time management for timely medication rounds and care tasks
• Teamwork and clear, respectful communication with residents and colleagues
