Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct care to residents, supporting activities of daily living with dignity
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting and mobility to keep residents comfortable
• Take and accurately document vital signs and condition changes
• Communicate observations clearly to the nursing team to support safe, coordinated care
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control practices
• Support residents during meals and document intake as required
• Contribute positively to the care team and promote resident independence where possible

Qualifications

• Current LNA/Licensed Nursing Assistant certification (T-LNA/LNA) valid for VT (and NH where applicable)
• Must have reliable personal transportation
• Must secure your own housing for the assignment
• Available and willing to work 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM shifts and both weekends as needed
• Strong communication skills and a caring, patient-centered attitude

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an approved LNA/CNA program and active LNA license

Knowledge & Skills

• Comfortable assisting with ADLs and safe resident transfers
• Familiarity with basic vital sign measurement and documentation
• Solid infection prevention and hand hygiene practices
• Good observation skills and timely reporting of condition changes
• Teamwork, time management, and a positive bedside manner
