Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Per diem (flexible days), 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM day shift

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $21 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate hands-on care to residents, helping with activities of daily living
Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, and mobility support with dignity
Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes in condition promptly
Perform safe transfers and use proper body mechanics to protect residents and yourself
Maintain clear, timely documentation of care and observations
Support the nursing team in implementing individualized care plans
Communicate effectively with residents, families, and colleagues to promote a positive care environment

Qualifications

Current state Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) credential required
CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Reliable, compassionate approach to resident-centered care
Comfortable with basic documentation and following care plans
Previous experience in long-term care or similar setting helpful but enthusiastic newcomers are welcome

Education

High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Skilled in assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) and mobility
Ability to take and record vital signs accurately
Knowledge of infection control and safe handling procedures
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with residents and families
Basic documentation and charting skills
Team player with good time-management and prioritization
