Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Per Diem (days vary), 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM Day

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $23 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate bedside care to residents with dignity and respect
Assist patients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and mobility
Monitor patients and promptly report changes in condition to the nursing team
Support safe transfers and positioning to promote comfort and prevent injury
Maintain accurate documentation and assist with basic clinical observations
Work collaboratively with the care team to deliver person-centered care

Qualifications

Current Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) credential (NH) or multistate equivalent
CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Ability to pass required background and health screenings
Strong communication skills and a compassionate bedside manner
Reliable, punctual, and able to lift/assist patients per facility policy

Education

High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a state-approved LNA program

Knowledge & Skills

Basic clinical skills in patient hygiene, transfers, and mobility assistance
Understanding of infection control and safety best practices
Ability to observe and report changes in patient condition clearly
Teamwork and effective communication with nurses and facility staff
Time management and the ability to prioritize resident needs
