Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Per diem (as scheduled), Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Hours per Week: 38

Candidate Pay Rate: $24 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct care to residents, helping with daily living activities
Assist with bathing, dressing, toileting, mobility and transfers with dignity
Monitor and record vital signs and report changes in condition promptly
Maintain clear, timely documentation in resident charts and care plans
Communicate effectively with nurses, families and the care team to ensure continuity
Follow infection control and safety protocols to protect residents and staff
Support a positive, respectful environment that promotes resident independence

Qualifications

Current LNA (Licensed Nursing Assistant) certification
Comfortable working the overnight schedule of 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM as a per diem team member
Ability to provide compassionate, resident-centered care and communicate clearly
Willingness to complete facility-required background checks and screenings
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently while collaborating with the team

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Completion of an approved LNA training program and current certification

Knowledge & Skills

Hands-on experience with activities of daily living and resident assistance
Knowledge of basic vital sign measurement and documentation
Familiarity with infection prevention practices and safe patient handling
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Attention to detail and ability to follow care plans and instructions
