Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents, assisting with daily living activities
• Perform timely and accurate documentation to keep the care team informed
• Monitor residents’ condition and report changes to licensed nursing staff promptly
• Support safe transfers, mobility assistance, and fall-prevention measures
• Maintain a clean, comfortable environment and follow infection-control practices
• Collaborate with colleagues to deliver person-centered care that preserves dignity

Qualifications

• Active Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) credential (NH or VT as applicable)
• Ability and willingness to work overnight shifts (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
• Current immunizations and clear background check per facility policy
• Previous experience as an LNA preferred but enthusiastic new grads are welcome
• Basic communication and teamwork skills to work well with interdisciplinary staff

Education

• Completion of state-recognized LNA nursing assistant training program
• High school diploma or GED preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong resident-focused care and attention to detail
• Comfortable with documentation and following care plans
• Good time management during busy shift periods
• Ability to follow infection control and safety protocols
• Kind, patient-centered communication with residents and families
