Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents including assistance with activities of daily living
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support while promoting independence
• Monitor resident condition and accurately document observations and vital signs
• Follow care plans and report changes to the nursing team to ensure timely interventions
• Support mealtime assistance and safe feeding practices consistent with dietary needs
• Maintain a safe, clean environment and adhere to infection control protocols
• Communicate respectfully and clearly with residents, families, and the interdisciplinary team

Qualifications

• Active Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) credential or state equivalent (NH or reciprocal) required
• Completion of an approved nurse aide/LNA training program
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or able to obtain prior to start
• Ability to work rotating 12.5-hour day shifts including weekend coverage
• Willingness to complete required background checks, health screenings, and facility onboarding

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent and completion of an approved LNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong patient care skills and hands-on experience with ADLs
• Knowledge of infection control, safety protocols, and documentation best practices
• Good communication and teamwork to collaborate with nurses and support staff
• Time management and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced care setting
• Compassionate bedside manner and respect for resident dignity and privacy
