Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group psychotherapy to adults with substance use and co-occurring disorders
• Conduct clinical assessments, develop treatment plans, and document progress thoroughly
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and ensure client safety
• Lead evidence-based interventions and crisis de-escalation when needed
• Support continuity of care through clear discharge planning and referrals
• Provide psychoeducation and family engagement as appropriate to treatment goals

Qualifications

• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) — newly licensed clinicians encouraged to apply
• Experience or interest in working with adults in substance abuse and correctional settings preferred
• Strong clinical documentation skills and ability to work within facility protocols
• Comfort with interdisciplinary teamwork and following established safety procedures
• Active California license and ability to pass facility onboarding requirements

Education

• Master of Social Work (MSW) required
• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) required (newly licensed accepted)

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of evidence-based treatments for substance use and co-occurring disorders
• Skilled in individual and group therapy facilitation
• Crisis intervention and risk assessment capabilities
• Solid clinical documentation and case management practices
• Culturally responsive care and strong interpersonal communication
