Candidate Pay Rate: $66 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive mental health and substance abuse assessments and create individualized treatment plans
• Deliver individual and group therapy using evidence-based approaches to support recovery
• Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation when patients need immediate support
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and ensure continuity
• Document clinical care accurately and timely in the patient record to meet regulatory standards
• Facilitate discharge planning and community referrals to support long-term recovery
• Participate in training and supervision during the initial onboarding week

Qualifications

• Active LCSW license in California (Licensed Clinical Social Worker) or eligible for licensure
• Experience or interest in working in substance abuse treatment and mental health settings
• Comfort working with diverse adult populations in a secure treatment environment
• Strong clinical assessment, documentation and crisis-intervention skills
• Ability to complete required training during the first week (6:00 AM - 2:00 PM)

Education

• Master of Social Work (MSW) required; LCSW licensure required

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of substance abuse treatment modalities and mental health interventions
• Skilled in individual and group therapy facilitation
• Familiarity with treatment planning, progress notes and clinical documentation
• Effective communication and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
• Trauma-informed care and motivational interviewing techniques
