Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Nights, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive care to mothers and newborns throughout the entire childbirth process
Monitor maternal and fetal well-being during labor and delivery
Administer medications and coach patients through labor
Assist during delivery and educate families on infant care
Serve as baby RN and work comfortably in the OR setting

Qualifications

Active RN license in New York
ACLS, BLS, NRP, and C-EFM certifications required
Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience
Comfortable working in LDRP model with special care nursery

Knowledge & Skills

Strong assessment and monitoring skills for maternal and fetal well-being
Experience coaching patients through labor and assisting deliveries
Ability to educate families on postpartum and infant care
Comfort working in both LDRP and OR settings
