Roles & Responsibilities

• Operate CT imaging equipment to acquire high-quality diagnostic images for patient care
• Prepare patients for CT exams with compassionate communication and clear instructions
• Verify patient identity, exam orders, and relevant clinical history prior to scanning
• Ensure radiation safety practices are followed for patients and staff at all times
• Complete required documentation, image routing and basic post-processing as needed
• Participate in Prime Core Competencies Exam and Prime Skills Checklist to demonstrate proficiency
• Collaborate with radiologists, technologists and care teams to support smooth patient throughput

Qualifications

• Proficient in Computed Tomography (CT) imaging and workflow
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• DCI/BVP credential as listed in the job requirements
• License/Certificate Verification completed and in good standing
• Willingness and ability to complete required health screenings and immunizations (drug screen, TB, COVID-19 vaccine, MMR, Hep B, Influenza, Varicella, Tdap, fit test)
• Successful completion of Prime Core Competencies Exam and Prime Skills Checklist prior to or during onboarding

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of CT imaging principles, patient positioning and contrast administration basics
• Understanding of radiation safety and infection control best practices
• Comfortable with clinical documentation and following imaging protocols
• Good interpersonal skills for patient-centered care and clear communication
• Ability to learn site-specific workflows and adapt to clinical team needs
