Candidate Pay Rate: $23 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs)
Monitor and record vital signs and report changes to the nursing team promptly
Assist with safe patient transfers, positioning, and mobility support
Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patients
Document care accurately and communicate effectively with interdisciplinary team members
Support patients’ emotional needs with respect and professionalism

Qualifications

Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license/certification in California (required)
Current BLS/CPR certification preferred
Comfortable working overnight 12-hour shifts and handling typical CNA duties
Ability to pass background check and drug screen as required
Previous experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or acute care is a plus

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred; CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

Strong foundational patient care skills and knowledge of ADLs
Proficient in taking and documenting vital signs
Familiarity with infection control and safe patient handling techniques
Clear communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with nurses and clinicians
Dependability, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize patient safety overnight
